TECHNOLOGY
Our school’s technology goal is to offer a variety of learning opportunities for the students. We are accomplishing this through an integrated educational plan that begins at an early age. Our certified teacher works with the classroom teachers in order to select the best use of technology for the learner.
Students in grades Pre-K through 8 have opportunities to use the computer lab on a daily basis. The lab is also available for the teachers to take a class for a selected lesson.
Here are a few of the learning lessons that are offered:
- Creating a Personal Power Point presentation
- Composing a Word Document
- Researching areas on the internet for reports
- Using insert tools on documents
- Keyboarding skills
Classroom teachers use the internet and the Promethean Boards, United Streaming for students. These areas offer interactive process with the board and the teacher.
