There are several ways to assist the school with funds need to purchase necessary materials for the students as well as help with the operational costs of the school.
 Annual Sweepstake/Auction begins in the fall of the year with the Dinner Dance held in early October. Parents sell tickets and provide items for the Silent Auction. These funds are used to provide for a specific need that is identified annually. Most recently funds were used to purchase Promethean Boards, library materials, and two laptops. For the 2008-2009 school year the funds will be used to purchase fencing for the playground and other items to help provide a safe, secure facility.
Las Vegas A great week-end involves every family in the school. This event takes place on the first week-end of March. A lot of planning and work goes into this great. High Roller selling of raffle tickets, sponsoring a table, advertising, etc. are just one piece of this.
Manna is the purchasing of gift certificates that give you purchasing power and then a percentage of the purchase comes back to you in the form of a discount toward your tuition. Discounts range from 2%-26%. This is not a true fundraiser, but a way to reduce tuition costs.
Market Day is the purchasing of food items. A credit is given toward tuition from the purchases. Market day is a monthly program. On line ordering can take place at www.marketday.com.
Take Charge of Education when you use the special Target Red charge card. Target donates an amount equal to 1% of the purchase back to the school. You need to register once at Target for this card and then whenever you purchase with the card the school will get the credit. In 2007-2008 we received $941. To participate go to: www.target.com and then go to the section about Red Cards to register.
Box Tops For Education is an easy way to give money to the school. Look for the label and cut it off. That label is worth ten cents. Yes, 10 cents. Just figure if every student in our school sent in 10 labels we would have $270.00. Find out more about this at www.BoxtopsforEducation.com. |
